Watercolor demonstration- Cusco church, Peru

I began this painting a month ago.  Finally I finished it last night. First Friday Raleigh- Holgarama photographs

VAE (Visual Art Exchange) in the Raleigh warehouse district, features select artists monthly in their Exchange Gallery.  This June, I will have to opportunity to display my unique Holgaramas photographs.  The film photographs were shot in various locations around the world. Watercolor painting from photographs

Painting today is fantastic due to the wealth of information on the internet.   Interacting, and viewing works by fantastic watercolorists such as Alvaro Castagnet, Michael Reardon,  Keiko Tanabe,  Oscar Norblom, Sadhu Aliyur, and others inspire my watercolors. While it is cool to see finished paintings, I have always been drawn to explanations, or demonstrations of the painting process itself.  Watching… (more…)
